Yuvashakti Grameen Abhivruddi Samsthe [YGAS] Guledgudd, is a development organization dedicated to alleviating poverty through economic and educational empowerment of the disadvantaged and marginalized people i.e. People with Disables (PWDs), Vulnerable Women and Men, Small and Marginal Farmers, Adolescence of deprived section of the society. YGAS is working in backward and drought areas work with 10000 families in 6 districts of North Karnataka. YGAS forming and strengthening community-based organizations (CBO), Promoting livelihood activities, management and development of natural resources, improving health and education status of the community to raise and manage resources independently.
To give social support to the women to protect them and empower them to be self-sufficient in the future and also provide health education to the underprivileged children and women in the community, who reside in rural area.
Our mission is a world where every woman, man and child leads a healthy, fulfilling life of self-reliance and dignity.

Holding MA in Samskrit, BA in Folker Literature. Twenty-nine years worked as Samskrit Teacher in Jagadguru Gurusiddeshwara Samskrit Pathashala (School); built his special image through the zeal of writing and correct the meanders of the society as news reporter. Born and grown up in Guledgudd and involved in reporting from 1994-95, initially was reporter of Hasiru Kranthi, and Kannada Prabha and later joined and writing to Vijaya Karnataka for the past 20 years. He is an active member of Taluk Kannada Sahitya Parishad, President of Taluk Janapada Saahitya Parshad.
Dr. Siddappa S. Madiwalar
Holding a Ph.D. in the area of Development and Planning from the Dept. of Geography, University of Bangalore, he has worked in various Developmental Organizations in the field of Sustainable Agriculture, Watershed, Community Organization, Gender, Regional Development and Planning. He has also served as an Assistant Professor in academic institutions in India and abroad. Having vast experience in the fields of Training, Teaching & Holding Ph.D. in the area of Development and Research, he also was part of a donor agency by name HEKS-EPER for a short duration. He participated in a Special Technical Training on “Participation with Gender and Social Development” jointly conducted by University of Swansea and London University in the United Kingdom sponsored by British Council. Many of his research article are published in National and International Journals. He has been honored by Bharatiya Karnataka Sangha of Bengaluru for his special article on ‘Manmatha & his Incarnation’ during 2015.
